The Pride Festival will be held Sunday, June 25, beginning at 9 a.m. The Pride Parade will be held Saturday, June 24 with a party beginning at 2 p.m., followed by the parade at 6:30 p.m. A few years back the parade was moved to the night prior to the festiva land this year the parade’s visibility improves as it moves downtown. This is the 15th annual St Pete Pride and the event continues to grow and change. Pete Pride, according to organizers, is to promote unity, visibility, self-esteem and a positive image of and among the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community of Tampa Bay and throughout the State of Florida by way of cultural and educational programs and activities.
